FIT & COMPATIBILITY

Fits standard Langstroth, National, Commercial Hive Long Hive, Dadant, Smith, Maisemore Poly and Hyde Long Hive.

Adaptations for Abelo, Honey Paw and Swienty Nicot are in progress. It does not fit WBC hives — we tried everything.

You ONLY need an extender if you have a National hive with a notch cut into the entrance floor (see image below). If that's not your hive — including every Langstroth, Maisemore, Smith, Dadant, Commercial and Hyde Long Hive owner — the Multi-Guard fits straight on, no extender required.

If your National floor does have the notch, you can add the Extender add-on above before checking out. We colour-match extenders using repurposed prototypes and print-run seconds, so nothing goes to waste.
